You have problems. Yours may be different than what others face, but we all have problems. Not everyone, though, has what they need to face their problems. The video will explain how we face our problems and how you can escape the brokenness that problems create. If, after watching the video, you want to know more, then go to the "contact us" tab, and send us a message. We'd love to share with you what God has given to us.
Marriage is in trouble. Even among those who identify as Christians, the divorce rate is high. It would be easy to assume that, among those who are in church, their marriages are solid, joyful, and long-lasting. That is a dangerous assumption. So, to help strengthen the marriages of those in our church, we began a series of Sundays devoted to making our marriages better. This is the first in that series, and it deals with possible objections that people might have for considering this subject.
Where do you run when life is falling apart? Life in your life right now might be about to drain you dry, not because of the heat that is measured by a thermometer, but the heat that is measured by your stress level. As a part of our series on surviving the heat, we come to Psalm 46. There, the writer imagines the worst case scenario. But still, he found refreshment in the stability that God provides. You can find what he found.
It's winter. That means that cold, dark, and dreary are part of your everyday experience. For you, winter may last a lot longer than three months. It may be your day-to-day experience for most of your life. It doesn't have to be that way. Jesus offers HOPE. In Luke 5, Jesus restored hope to two men - a paralytic and a tax collector. One issue was physical with a spiritual component. One issue was related to a job and a life direction. For both, Jesus was the only answer.
